GRIQ SOCIETY

GRIQ SOCIETY

GRIQ society is an international society for people having tested at a high IQ (Intelligence Quotient) at or above the second standard deviation above the statistical mean of the population.

Cognitive Performances

The cognitive performances acceptable for the GRIQ membership are:

IQ 130, (Wechsler scale with sd 15)
IQ 132, (Stanford-Binet scale with sd 16)
IQ 148, (Cattell scale with sd 24)

The name GRIQ comes from the combination of the first two letters of the word “Great” and/or “Grand” and the IQ component. The number of letters before the IQ component of the society name (GR, 2) is directly related to the two standard deviations above the mean required on an IQ performance for anyone to claim membership in the society.

Founded in 2011 by Dr. Evangelos G. Katsioulis, GRIQ Society sponsors international memberships. GRIQ belongs to the group of IQ societies, that Dr Katsioulis found (QIQ, GRIQ, CIVIQ, HELLIQ and OLYMPIQ Societies) and it is the 25th member society of the WIN (World Intelligence Network).
